HP X1 DDR5 SODIMM for Laptops
HP X1 DDR5 Memory Module Delivers Next-Gen Performance
DDR5's higher transfer speed & frequency
Lower Power Consumption
Bigger bandwidth
Overview
ALL THE BENEFITS OF DDR5, THE NEWEST GENERATION OF MEMORY
Designed to push the limits of your laptop, the HP X1 DDR5 features high-quality ICs and fast speeds up to 5600 MHz.
From DDR4 to DDR5 is more than a typical generation change-- DDR5 takes a big leap forward by overhauling the DDR architecture to increase bandwidth. DDR5 memory runs at higher transfer speeds and frequency (and also runs at a higher latency).
Even with its faster speed, DDR5 memory runs at a lower voltage (1.1V vs 1.2V) than DDR4 and integrates the PMIC (Power Management IC) on the actual module. Also, an on-die ECC (Error-Correction Code) for enhanced stability and reliability, makes this HP memory module the ideal kit for those who work and play hard.

HP X1 DDR5 OPENS NEW POSSIBILITIES
What would you do with faster speed, larger capacity and higher storage density than your DDR4? HP's X1 opens up new possibilities for your laptop. This HP memory module will not only improve the user experience while playing games, but will also make faster work of whatever work tasks you have at hand.
Up to 5600 MHz MAKES MULTI-TASKING EASIER THAN EVER
Up to 5600 MHz, the HP X1 delivers effortless multitasking, ideal for those of us who live, work and play in a world that's demanding we pay attention to more than one thing at a time.
ON-DIE ECC FOR SECURE AND STABLE DATA TRANSMISSION
Now that we've placed the ECC (Error Correction Code) on the die, the X1 provides better data integrity even while the DDR5 memory technology allows for faster speeds, higher frequencies, lower latency and larger capacities. Your laptop can take on more jobs, zip through the work faster-- all while the X1 assures more memory stability and data reliability.
ABOUT 20% LESS POWER CONSUMPTION WITH ON-DIE PMIC
By moving the role of power management (PMIC) from your motherboard on to the die, the HP X1 DDR5 improves signal integrity, reduces noise and saves about 20% of power consumption from DDR4. The operating voltage is an impressive 1.1 V.
32-BIT SUBCHANNELS REDUCE ANNOYING LATENCY
DDR5 radically improves performance for multi-core computing and introduces two independently addressable 32-bit subchannels. These subchannels on the HP X1 DDR5 will more efficiently manage the retrieval of data from memory and reduce latency. Lower latency means you get what you want from your computer sooner, instead of waiting for the computer to take an action. Even some milliseconds can affect your game play or slow down your big work or school project.
